Sheriff Joe Arpaio Pranked By Sacha Baron Cohen On ‘Who Is America?’

Trump pardoned Arpaio a year ago after a conviction on contempt of court charges based on allegations that he had ordered his deputies to racially profile Hispanics in Arizona.

Cohen's show has been making headlines all over the country in recent weeks because of Cohen's interaction with political figures, like the Georgia house representative who used a racial slur and showed his butt on the show.

"All I can say about that is that there are several people who have thrown themselves in front of buses that may not be heading their way", Levine told reporters about the status of the Palin interview. "I think he is the Daniel Day-Lewis of comedy", said Nevins, referring to the three time Oscar-winning British star of "Lincoln".

In reference to the explosive Trump dossier, Baron Cohen asks Arpaio, who is a close ally of Donald Trump, whether the president might have had a golden shower, to which the sheriff replies: "Wouldn't surprise me".

In response, Arpaio bragged about his tenacity, but soon after Cohen asked Arpaio "If Donald Trump calls you up after this and says 'Sheriff Joe, I want to offer you an fantastic blowjob, ' would you say yes?"

"Delicious Donut, you have to understand that you have to follow the Constitution and the law and allow people to have guns", Arpaio said.

Cohen interviewed Arpaio, 86, in a segment that aired on Sunday as part of his "Who Is America?" series on Showtime.

"Yes, I have been collecting them for the upcoming race war", Baron Cohen said.

"Bad guys are going to get their guns, it's going to kill you", Arpaio, who's a Republican candidate for Senate, responded to the toy. "I'm hoping somebody else in there has a gun that will shoot that person before he kills you". Arpaio said that he went into the interview believing he would be talking with a Finnish comedian and that producers led him to believe the host was a Trump supporter.

Cohen also asked Arpaio about his relationship with Trump, drawing him into an off-color discussion of his loyalty to the president.
