Stevie Nicks Will Return to 'American Horror Story' for 'Apocalypse'

Ryan Murphy took to Twitter to personally announce the news that numerous cast members for American Horror Story: Coven will return for the series including Taissa Farmiga, Lily Rabe, Gabourey Sidibe, Frances Conroy, and legendary rock singer Stevie Nicks.

The upcoming eighth season will be a crossover of two fan-favorite seasons: Coven and Murder House. Murphy posted to Twitter to reveal that Taissa Farmiga, Lily Rabe, Gabourey Sidibe, Frances Conroy, and Stevie Nicks are back for the season. Now, we have confirmation that they will be. Sidibe might be able to revisit Coven's Queenie, and Nicks could return as her witchy self.

Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman, Cheyenne Jackson, Billie Lourd, Billy Porter, and Adina Porter are also set for Apocalypse, which premieres September 12 on FX. Meanwhile, Evans will be playing a comedic hairstylist (whose grandmother is Joan Collins - and yes, he will be doing her hair!), and Bates will portray Ms. Meade. It was recently reported that Jessica Lange will be coming back to the show.

To that end, though American Horror Story is an anthology show, creator Ryan Murphy has assembled a solid group of actors who've played a variety of roles across the AHS seasons. Whoever he is, it seems likely that a mask of some sort is involved, as he tweeted out a photo of himself getting covered in blue. something.

American Horror Story: Apocalypse premieres Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 10/9c on FX.
