Angelina Jolie Pitt wants divorce finalised by year's end

In court documents filed as part of the ongoing divorce drama between the former couple, attorneys for the 43-year-old actress alleged Pitt hadn't paid "meaningful" child support since the separation.

Jolie Pitt filed for divorce almost two years ago and now has primary custody of their six children. "[Pitt] has a duty to pay child support".

A source close to Pitt told CNN, "It is sad that someone would deliberately misrepresent the situation, especially after Brad has continued to fulfill his commitments".

The filing here didn't immediately note what would be "meaningful" child support, and Pitt's team hasn't commented on this latest move. "As of present, [Pitt] has paid no meaningful child support since separation".

Sources close to Pitt told Page Six that Jolie made the court filing as part of a smear campaign to tarnish her estranged husband's reputation after he chose to re-start the formal divorce process.

In the filing, Jolie's lawyers requested to appear before a judge to schedule a status conference to address the financial issue.

The brood is now living in London with Jolie as she films Maleficent 2, while Pitt has spent his court-ordered time with the kids in London and Los Angeles, where he is shooting Quentin Tarantino's new movie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Additionally, the documents state that Jolie must provide Pitt with personal cell phone numbers for each child and allow him to text them whenever he wants.

The source also tells ET that although Tuesday's court filing was filed by attorney Samantha Bley DeJean, high-powered attorney Laura Wasser is still working on Jolie's case, and that DeJean and Wasser are working together.

Jolie was granted physical custody of all six children in a December 2016 custody agreement, but last month, she was ordered by a judge to help fix the children's relationship with their father. "Brad's just going to continue to take the high ground and remain focused on what matter - his kids", our source adds. "She can't see past her anger for Brad that he is on his way to getting joint custody".
