Former Man Utd Attacker Wants Chelsea Move

Chelsea are reportedly winning the race to sign the 25-year-old, who is settled and looking to remain in London, and doesn't fancy a return to the north west after a failed stint at Manchester United earlier in his career.

Zaha wants to remain in London and sees Chelsea as the ideal club to continue his resurgence.

The Ivory Coast global has been strongly linked with a move this summer and the Sun claims Chelsea are ready to launch an improved bid to sign Zaha after seeing their opening £30m plus Danny Drinkwater offer rejected.

However, it looks like Tottenham could be set for disappointment as not only are Chelsea lining-up a fresh bid but the Mirror claim that Zaha wants to secure a move to Stamford Bridge before the window closes.

Ivory Coast worldwide Zaha impressed with nine goals and made five assists in 29 games in the Premier League last season to earn rave reviews for his performances.

Zaha provides a viable option.

Do you think Zaha would be a good signing for Chelsea?

Tottenham have long held an interest in the talented winger, while Chelsea have also emerged as a potential destination for the player.

The Crystal Palace winger has been heavily linked with a move away from Selhurst Park for a number of months after he seemingly single handedly ensured the Eagles' Premier League safety last term. But, Chelsea will hope to seal the deal when they table their late offer for the Ivory Coast worldwide.
