Nadia Hilker has been revealed as Magna, one of the many new faces joining The Walking Dead in season 9.

Lincoln confirmed the news Friday afternoon at the show's San Diego Comic-Con panel.

Hilker portrayed Luna on The CW series The 100 and played Nita in 2016's Allegiant, where she co-starred alongside Shailene Woodley and Theo James.

Back in May 2018, fans were shocked when they found that Andrew was reportedly leaving the hit AMC show after the show's upcoming ninth season. Here's what Lincoln had to say about it.

"It has been the most extraordinary, attractive experience of my career, largely because of you guys". As for Rick when season 9 picks up, Andrew teased: "He's been through a lot of stresses and strains".

It had previously been reported that Lincoln's character, former police officer and long-lasting survivor Rick Grimes, would be leaving the show.

"There are a couple practical considerations", executive producer David Alpert told HuffPost about selecting the shots we see in the Season 9 trailer.

Andrew Lincoln sounded quite emotional and honest while addressing the crowd.

The walkers still remain an ever-present threat, as the trailer also contained cuts of Grimes and company fighting off the undead onslaught. The rest of the cast and moderator Yvette Nicole Brown remaining quite and giving the man time to address his fans.

Andrew Lincoln, star of The Walking Dead, has announced he will leave the show after the next series. He later added toward the end of his emotional speech: "My relationship with Mr. Grimes is far from over".
