Samsung's Foldable Phone Coming Early Next Year

According to information from a local source and a representative of Samsung, SpiderWeb claimed that the price of the Galaxy Note 9 in Poland will be 4,299 Polish zloty at launch, compared to the Galaxy Note 8 launch price of 3,800 Polish zloty. It is scheduled to hold an event on August 9 to announce the Note 9.

For years, rumors have swirled about the foldable Samsung phone called the Galaxy X. The Journal also reports that we can expect Samsung to launch an Apple HomePod competitor around the same time: a $300 speaker powered by Samsung's smart assistant, Bixby.

Apart from the new position of the fingerprint sensor, the leaked render shows that the dual camera setup of the Galaxy Note 9 matches the paintjob of its back panel. The Galaxy Note 9 on its own isn't likely to make waves, but perhaps a rebranded smartwatch with fresh new features and interactivity with the Galaxy smartphone line will reinvigorate the fan base. Noted tipster Evan Blass has shared its press render, while the hands-on images of the next-gen flagship have also been leaked on Weibo. The image shows the S Pen stylus in the new Yellow colour.

It's expected to have a 7-inch display that, when folded, features a camera on the back and a small display bar on the front. New reports suggest that that's the same day the Galaxy Note 9 will hit store shelves as well.

About a week ago, images of the Galaxy Tab S4 were leaked, showing some interesting departures from its predecessor. It is also rumoured to come with up to 8GB of RAM and as much as 512GB of onboard storage. It was neat seeing the device in the wild ahead of its official launch, but we didn't really get a good look at the Note 9 itself.
