Few showers, storms possible Tuesday: Hot and humid rest of the week

Good Sunday morning, everyone! A few instability cumulus clouds will built up, but we'll stay rain free. We need the rain, but could do without the strong storms. Fortunately, the severe weather reports from yesterday were fairly limited. Highs will be cooler, mainly in the 80s.

No severe weather is expected tonight, but heavy rain, lightning, and gusty winds are possible with any storms that develop.

Strong to severe storms have been popping up all over the state for the last few days.

We're pretty much picking up right where we left off this weekend as dry weather prevails to kick off this work week.

Today expect clouds to continue to decrease from northwest to southeast with highs in the upper 80s-low 90s for most spots. The only fly in the ointment is that old cold front that is to our south.

Rain continued, local waterways were swollen and water covered fields in Seneca County Monday.

The weekend will be hot and humid.

A second area will be southwest Kansas where storms moving out of Colorado Tuesday evening will move east/southeast across the southwest corner of KAKEland. There is a complex of showers and storms moving through IL and IN thi which will impact the Miami Valley this afternoon.
