Fallout 76: What We Know Now

Fallout 76: What We Know Now

Detailed as "softcore survival", Fallout 76 will have access to different servers with no real indication that you're in any specific server, further immersing you in the multiplayer world. Although we were not shown any actual gameplay, we saw from the trailer that the iconic Power Armor, which has always been a staple of Fallout, will be making a comeback. Bethesda presented the new Fallout 76 in full on Sunday at the at the video game show E3 2018. Not only that, but the developers delivered on their promise of an in-depth reveal of Fallout 76 and for the most part fans are interested in seeing their much smaller take on the "MMO" genre. There will be no permadeath, and everything about your character follows you- which translates to you won't lose your stuff if and when you die.

The game is set before all the other Fallout games.

Here's how Bethesda's spinning that: Fallout 76 is something of an MMO-lite. "You'll be able to join with your friends or anyone you want, whenever you want, and all of your progression goes with you", Howard said. It's now unclear whether there will be a "passive" setting that disables player-on-player combat.

If you want, you can even get friendly with other camps and work together to help create a larger foothold in the region. Find other players holding the missing pieces. You'll be able to build using tools similar to those in Fallout 4, but plopping down a house doesn't mean you're committing to the land. However, there's an additional surprise, and the surprise is that nuclear silos will litter the wasteland. As a result, you'll only see maybe a dozen players. That is, if you can survive the radiation that's caused. Fallout Shelter also became the third-highest grossing apps during its first week on the App Store, overtaking King's Candy Crush.

Fallout 76 Tricentennial Edition Bonus In-Game Items: Celebrate 300 years of freedom with the all-new Fallout 76 Tricentennial Edition, commemorating the opening of Vault 76.

Fallout 76 will launch on November 14th, 2018. The Fallout 76 regular release is on sale for $47.99 on Amazon.

Of course, as the latest game in the franchise it's the most technically impressive.

Also included are a map of the Fallout 76 world that glows in the dark and 24 plastic figurines with designs based on the game's 3D models.

Unique to Fallout 76 are nuclear armaments that can be completely controlled by players. The game is already available on mobile devices, Xbox One and PC.
