Dinesh Karthik believes Indian spinners are far ahead in experience than Afghanistan's

"We thank India and BCCI for their role in the development in Afghanistan cricket, and for organizing this match, and also request other Test-playing nations to organize Test series against Afghanistan".

The blasts occurred after evening prayers at a football stadium that was hosting a cricket match at the start of the holy month of Ramadan.

The test cricketer Karun Nair has slammed the Afghan skipper Asghar Stanikzai for his bold statement on spinners as the historic test match between the two countries will kick off from Thursday.

Since gaining one day worldwide status in 2009, the Afghans have made giant strides and qualified for their second 50-over World Cup in England and Wales next year. "His experience, his form - the way he was batting in the Asia Cup especially and also in the IPL. his experience playing those domestic games [will help us]. I am proud of the men who championed cricket in Afghanistan in the dawn of the century and believed in themselves that one day Afghanistan will play against the best in the world", the message read. As Dhawan was looking in good touch, the left-handed batsman started hammering the Afghanistan bowlers, be it pacers or spinners. "Coming back after a long time is special, it's good to have him in the team". India is led by Ajinkya Rahane while Afghanistan will be captained by Asghar Stanikzaiin the historic Test. I don't think he has played too many red-ball games. "Skill-wise it won't make a difference, but our attitude [towards training] matters if you have to make a quick switch in terms of our mindset from T20s to Test cricket", Rahane said on Wednesday (June 13). "Everyone knows Afghanistan is a tough place and the turmoil that they are going through, yet they are able to inspire people with their performances". So overall it's going to be an exciting game of cricket. We want to go out there and be ruthless. Yes, we respect them as an opponent, but it's important for all of us to go out there and give more than 100 per cent. But don't tell that to Stanizai, who says that his team's spin bowlers will outduel India's world-class veteran "spin twins, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, he boasted to the Times of India".

Rahane said it would be an "honour" for every Indian to be part of the match and acknowledge Afghanistan's big moment in cricket.
