Square Enix's E3 2018 showcase is short and sweet

Square Enix's E3 2018 showcase is short and sweet

Square Enix had a handful of new trailers and gameplay sequences to reveal during its E3 press conference Monday afternoon. Despite the Luminary being on the receiving end of a monologue about how harsh their life has been so far - and then taking part in a battle against the undead - it's all quite strangely celebratory. In the short teaser we got, it looks like Babylon's Fall is a melee action game with a healthy dose of fantasy elements thrown in there. It's clear that Square Enix is bringing everything together for a big finale with Kingdom Hearts 3.

After the new title announcement, we got to once again see footage from NieR: Automata BECOME AS GODS edition releasing for Xbox One on June 26th. Additionally, the new trailer announced the Edition of Light copy, which includes a Supplicant, Healer, and three Seeds of Skill.

The hyped presentation did have plenty to share on a new Tomb Raider title, to which they devoted about seven minutes of their half-hour presser.

What was Just Cause 4 doing here?

Kingdom Hearts 3 debuted back at E3 2013, and fans have waited five years to learn when they can their hands on the game.

A new trailer for "Dragon Quest XI" showcases the hero's journey in the upcoming RPG and shows off the gorgeous animations in the game.

E3 2018 marked Square Enix's return to holding a press conference at the event, as its last showcase was at E3 2015. Final Fantasy XIV and Monster Hunter: World are joining up to make two groups of nerds incredibly happy.
