Square Enix’s E3 showcase was a bust

Shadow of the Tomb Raider opened the show with some gameplay footage in this latest Lara Croft adventure going through some stealthy kills.

Not much is really shown in the trailer but anything from Platinum Games is worth keeping an eye out for. However, when it was all said and done, Square Enix had very little to offer. The title is Babylon's Fall, and you can see a brief teaser below. The trailer starts out in live-action before transitioning to an in-game action sequence where our hero fights a pair of gangsters. This was an early glimpse, with more information coming in August 2018.

The Quiet Man is in development for PlayStation 4 and PC.

The video talks us through the new additions to Just Cause 4, the most prominent of these being the extreme weather system.

What was Just Cause 4 doing here? There is no word of a release date.

Octopath Traveler was also given a quick name check, while a crossover with Monster Hunter: World was announced for MMO Final Fantasy XIV Online this summer.

Are you looking forward to Just Cause 4?

After an exciting day full of announcements from Microsoft and Bethesda on Sunday, Square Enix is kicking things off on Monday with its first E3 press conference since 2015.
