Halo Infinite announced for Xbox One, Windows 10

The Master Chief returns in Halo Infinite - the next chapter of the legendary franchise just announced at the Xbox E3 2018 press conference!

We'll keep you updated on any new information on Halo Infinite as it comes during this week's Electronic Entertainment Expo.

Forza Horizon 4 will be heading to Xbox One on 2nd October and will also be available on Xbox Games Pass. Microsoft Studios has also acquired Playground Games, which is kind of a big deal.

Microsoft showed off not one, not two, but three new Gears of War games that are now in development.

As showcased on stage during the presentation, the game will take place in a shared world, where players will be roaming alongside other racers from all over the world on their own supercars.

Ninja Theory has designed titles including Hellblade, Undead Labs has released the State of Decay series, and Compulsion Games is working on its new title We Happy Few which will launch this year. There's also a glimpse at one of the most iconic video game vehicles of all time: the Warthog. There has been talk lately that we might be past the point of consoles.

It's not clear how the game will play out - the teaser is extremely broad. A new trailer during Microsoft's E3 conference gave us a look at the striking visuals and challenging platforming gameplay fans of this series are going to expect. Additionally, Xbox One owners can watch the briefing on their console using the Mixer app.
