From Software's Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Set To Come Out 2019

From Software's Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Set To Come Out 2019

As part of the lead up to Electronic Entertainment Expo trade show in Los Angeles, Microsoft today helped developer From Software reveal its next game, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. A slick new trailer for the game was shown during the Xbox briefing, showcasing brutal combat and swordplay. It's perhaps unsurprising then that Sekiro looks a bit like a samurai Souls game. The arm can be used in a number of ways, transforming into a variety of weapons or even a shield mid-action.

In an interesting twist, this one is published by Activision, the mega-corporation best known for ongoing multiplayer games like Destiny and Call of Duty.

Speaking of those two games, the gameplay in Sekiro Shadows Die Twice doesn't look too dissimilar to FromSoftware's signature look.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is scheduled to be released sometime in 2019.

It's being published by Activision and it is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC, though it made its debut during the Xbox conference at E3.
