This pre-order message does nothing when you click on the "Click for Details" button, meaning that the Steam store page is not live yet.

With yesterday's announcement of Generation Zero, the co-op open world shooter game self-published by Avalanche Studios, one could have thought the developers had their hands full between that game and Rage 2. Just Cause 4 was also part of the major Walmart Canada E3 leak from a few weeks ago. If we were to guess, Square Enix will likely have a quick turn-around on this one and try to slot it somewhere in December like Just Cause 3 or very early 2019.

As for a Just Cause 4 release date, it's safe to say it would skip October thanks to Red Dead Redemption 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and Battlefield V among others.

What can we expect from Just Cause 4?

The Just Cause series of games are some of the best anarchy simulators available, with enormous sandboxes for players to explore on foot, planes, boats, cars and bikes, or through using Rico's grappling hook. Hopefully Just Cause 4 isn't as buggy as Just Cause 3.

Square Enix could be lining up a lot of announcements for its E3 press conference, which takes place on Monday morning.

The only other unconfirmed game (apart from Dragon Quest 2, which is nearly certainly a typo of some sort) is Borderlands 3, which is no secret but so far there's been no indication it's going to be at E3 or out this year.
